This powder room originally included a shower that the new owners did not use. It was the fourth full bath in the house, adjacent to the kitchen and dining room area. As a result, the bathroom was crowded and oddly placed. The client wanted an elegant and serene powder room. By removing the shower, we were able to capture much needed space. A privacy wall beside the toilet allows for a floating vanity, offset with a heavy stone sink. The introduction of crown moldings brings a 9-foot ceiling visually down to a more human scale.
