FOXCRAFT has a cure for the compartmentalized home. There was a time when a formal living room, formal dining room and separate kitchen with a cramped eat-in space tucked in the corner was the way most people thought they wanted to live. The truth is, no one actually lived like that then, and no one wants to live like that now. In this home, by removing walls that separated the living room, dining room and kitchen, we created a large, open space. An L-shaped kitchen with an island allows the cook to prepare food and watch children play or guests mingle.
